Applications for this year’s Fiesta have now been reviewed. To ensure fairness for those that applied on time I have again fix agegroup sizes and timings based upon entries received by the closing date.
Most agegroups have a few spare spaces, and these will be allocated on a “first come, first served” basis.
The times of play for each agegroup are now shown on our website and (apart from the Under 7s) each will be restricted to half a day.
We have again catered for just over 300 teams, and have not reduced our commitment to ensure all teams play at least 6 games on sensibly sized pitches.
We wish to promote sportsmanship throughout and will endeavour to make the event fun for all the family without making it an expensive weekend for the wage earner. This will be the 16th year we have staged the Fiesta - which we believe has been, and continues to be, the largest mini soccer tournament in the world held over 2 days. For those that prefer to stay on site, there will be lots of other attractions on site throughout the event.
Details currently shown for team entries (below) reflect those entries received by 31st May 2009 so that you can check to see that your application has been received.
As no letters are being sent, please confirm that you know when you are playing by replying by email, adding the “REC’D” number(s) which are now shown against each of your team entries in the “Subject” line. No message is necessary.
Where no number us shown, teams have been entered on a provisional basis pending receipt of an application form. These entries are valid for 7 days, but may be allocated to other teams if an application form is not received.
